Exclusion Analysis

The Exclusion Panel audits the Windows Defender exclusion list. Misconfigured exclusions can serve as persistence locations for malware.

High Risk Findings

These configurations bypass security checks for critical system areas. Immediate removal is recommended.

System Directories
C:\Windows\System32
Excluding system directories allows malware to inject code into trusted processes.
Executable Extensions
.exe, .dll, .bat, .ps1
Broad extension exclusions prevent the scanning of all files with the specified format.

%AppData%\Roaming
Common location for initial malware staging. Exclusion is not recommended.
